ARR for the new entity
70 000+
Active subscriptions represented
Next Mobiles et mobile.club.
Two names that everyone knows in smartphone rental in France. Charlotte Zagury at the helm of Next Mobiles, Damien Morin at the head of mobile.club. Two profitable boxes, 70,000 active subscriptions, 60 employees.
For years, they were competitors.
And then at the beginning of 2026, everything changes. The two merge. Exchange of securities, everyone shareholder of the new entity, Damien appointed CEO of the group.
Behind this merger, a debt relief of 31 million euros from Smart Lenders. And a stated goal: 100 million ARR by 2030, with Germany, the United Kingdom and Spain in the sights.
In short, it is not a small movement. It is a turning point.
Except that an ad like this, it’s not just a LinkedIn post and a statement reread three times by the legal. We needed a movie. A real one. A film that embodies what was happening.
In conversation with the Next Mobiles marketing team, we quickly understood what was at stake:
In summary: a corporate announcement film to bring a strategic merger, a fundraising and a vision to 5 years.
And 4 days to do it.
We started where it matters: with people.
The Next Mobiles marketing team had already written the script. They knew their message, their market, the tone they wanted. We weren’t there to rewrite their story. We were there to make it filmable.
Each intention of the script has been translated into concrete plans. The rhythm, the breaths, the strong moments, the transitions. We put it all on a full storyboard in Miro.
The narrative idea was to play on two visual registers.
On the one hand, the urban movement. Paris, the metro, the street. The momentum. The dynamics. Two paths that converge.
On the other, the pro framework. Offices, teams, faces. The concrete. What happens when the merger is no longer a statement but a reality on a daily basis.
The transition from one register to the other was exactly the thread of the film: two companies in motion coming together.
Once the storyboard was validated, we stalled the device.
No studio. No heavy setup. 2 cameramen, 1 project manager. A light team, able to turn outdoors and indoors without losing a half day in installation.
The shoot covered several locations between Paris and the company’s offices. The goal: to capture the energy of the Charlotte-Damien duo, but also the real life behind the merger. The teams, the complementarity, the dynamics of a group of 60 people that changes scale.
On the content side, the video covered several angles:
The bias of realization, we have held from beginning to end: fluidity, movement, zero corporate rigidity.
Charlotte and Damien had to be themselves. Not spokespeople. Founders.
In 4 days, we went from the first exchange with the marketing team to the finished film. Ready to broadcast.
But what really matters is that.
A merger between two historic competitors. A debt relief of $31 million. A multi-brand strategy – Next Mobiles and mobile.club in B2C, Cleaq in B2B. A European expansion in preparation.
It all boils down to one film. Turned in a few days.
And the result does not seem to have been done in an emergency. He seems to have been thought of.
That’s exactly what we were aiming for.
